What you'll do

As a member of the Data Security team, you will be a key part of ensuring that security best practices are implemented and promoted across the organization.

As a (Cloud) Security Governance Analyst, you are a highly motivated individual who is a self starter and thinks creatively. You will be responsible for documenting applicable cloud (preferably Azure, AWS and GCP) security requirements and controls, as well as driving adoption across the enterprise. You will work closely with other Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), Data Security, Security Architecture, and other related SMEs in the organization.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Data Security Lead.

Responsibility

  • Develop cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) security standards and controls that enforce secure, efficient data transfer and operations across cloud environments

  • Maintain security policy framework by continuously reviewing with applicable regulatory changes and industry-best practices in alignment with business direction

  • Develop other related security policies, standards and controls to support NIST Cybersecurity framework and ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) programs where applicable

  • Collaborate with various partners and SMEs across Cloud, Security, Privacy, Compliance, Legal organizations

  • Socialize policy documentation to relevant teams across the enterprise and promote adoption

  • Identify related metrics and develop dashboards for reporting

Job Designation

Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

What you bring

Basic

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Information Security
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience and relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP)
  • Experience with and solid understanding of security processes, controls and tools
  • Experience with and solid understanding of Azure/AWS/GCP security concepts
  • Experience and knowledge in securing the public cloud, preferably Azure
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting data and extracting key insights

Preferred

  • Good communication, collaborative, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong documenting and reporting skills
  • One or more of these certifications: CISM, CISA, CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, AWS/Azure Security
  • Experience with creating security documentation related to NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800 53, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS and related security frameworks and regulatory standards
  • Experience and familiarity with cloud solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS and GCP)
  • Proactive, demonstrated self-starter, open to learning new security topics, flexible and organized

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $114,200.00 - $177,100.00 base salary

Illinois and Colorado: $109,600.00 - $150,625.00 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $109,600.00 - $156,950.00 base salary

Washington DC: $114,200.00 - $156,950.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus and benefits.
