What you'll do

This role will partner across multiple teams (engineering, support, security, compliance, customer success etc.) to enable deeper integration points which in turn will result in more rapid innovation. Docusign is in the midst of a technology and cultural transformation, transitioning from a Private Cloud Infrastructure to the Public Cloud (Azure), and you will play a key role in this transition, driving the evolution of our operations and a move to a true DevOps culture.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting te to Vice President, Engineering.

Responsibility

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to the VP, providing insights, recommendations, and constructive feedback to shape direction and priorities
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and communication, facilitating the flow of information and ensuring the message is understood by key partners
  • Foster collaboration and alignment across different departments and teams
  • Facilitate communication between partners, break down silos, and promote a culture of teamwork and cooperation
  • Develop and maintain administrative systems to ensure efficient decision-making, timely follow-up, and seamless execution of organizational priorities
  • Design and implement organizational structures and processes that foster a high-performance culture of continuous improvement, empowering team members to reach their full potential
  • Drive the planning and execution of strategic initiatives, including internal and external relationship building, ensuring alignment with the VPs vision and the company’s overall goals
  • Manage critical projects end-to-end, from ideation to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Dive deep into data and metrics, understanding them well to drive and influence decisions and stay connected to the details
  • Create, track, measure and monitor KPIs and OKRs
  • Complete other duties as assigned
  • Understand the big picture and plan ahead for dependencies and roadblocks

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • At least 15 years of professional experience, including 7 years in leadership, with the majority being High-Tech Industry
  • 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • At least 5-10 years of engineering experience and/or technical program management experience
  • Proven experience in fast-paced environments, with a track record of driving strategic initiatives and delivering results
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity

Preferred

  • Strong bias for action and be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Expertise and/or knowledge in areas of Site Reliability, Cloud technologies, Technical Operations
  • A proactive, self-driven approach with demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative on new projects and challenges
  • Well-developed project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, and ensure successful execution
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
  • Exceptional presentation skill
  • Strong academic track record, graduate degree

Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $195,500 - $315,775 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $186,200 - $276,125 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
