What you'll do
As the Team Lead, Workplace Experience, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operation of Docusign’s San Francisco headquarters location, nurturing a collaborative and supportive team environment, with a focus on excellence in customer service delivery as the number one priority. This role is ultimately responsible for planning and performing leveled-up operations and service in a high profile position that requires navigating complexity with sophistication and poise. You are proactive at problem solving and demonstrate the ability to make good decisions in a rapidly changing environment.
This position is a people manager role reporting to the Manager, Workplace Experience - North America
Responsibility
- Ensure front desk coverage, mail and package operations, access control, space planning, facilities management - core components to ensure a successful workplace
- Engage with various business leaders, executive support staff, and other key partners to ensure the workplace experience is aligned with business needs
- Build effective relationships with key partners, including C-level Executives
- Design event and employee engagement to enable connection and collaboration performed with a high degree of sophistication
- Support, develop, and coach a small team to implement the highest standard of service, providing learning, growth, and engagement opportunities
- Provide leadership in a customer service intensive environment
- Champion an environment that promotes and supports diversity, inclusion and belonging in collaboration with cross functional partners
- Act as a contributor and collaborator on office build outs and improvement projects, working with real estate and design, vendors, and contractors
- Develop and ensure consistent delivery of site services across our workplace to enhance the employee experience while also operating within financial plans
- Partner with HR, ERG groups and other key stakeholders in delivering employee-centric programs, services and events which build company culture, engagement, and diversity
- Create and oversee content for the managed Intranet sites to ensure relevance and accuracy, and build engagement amongst local employees with Workplace Experience events, programs and initiatives
- Work across Docusign’s global Workplace Experience team on scalable programs and establish consistent, standard methodologies for site management
- Ensure we have the best-in-class suppliers for our offices and effectively implement vendor management best practices ensuring vendors align with our mission and values which includes actively managing best practices, KPIs and SLAs with each Workplace Experience vendor
- Manage Workplace Experience bid processes using Docusign across the region and annual budget planning
- Strive for excellence in our day-to day business, identify technology and process gaps and ensure decisions are data driven
- Scale our services to support the future growth of the organization and improve our collaboration with key vendors, internal business partners, and employees
- Partner with Security and Safety to manage employee health and safety programs, emergency preparedness and disaster recovery plans
- Ensure compliance with all security protocols, ISO, and audit
- Contribute to developing metrics and benchmarks for measuring employee satisfaction and optimizing budgets
- Assist Safety and Security with all Health and Safety compliance issues in line with local legislation
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
- 2+ years of people management experience
- 2+ years of office services, hospitality and/or facilities experienceExperience with Google Suite
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment
- Comfort with ambiguity
- Experience engaging with executive leaders
- Ability to work extended hours as needed
Preferred
- 5+ years of people management experience
- 5+ years of office services, hospitality and/or facilities experienceStrong organizational and time management skills
- High quality written communication skills, attention to detail and bias for top notch work product
- Strong business acumen
- Experience managing physical office move projects
- Experience with a mid-to large sized technology companies
- Experience with workplace strategy and change management

Wage Transparency
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $96,600 - $149,325 base salary
This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
