What you'll do

We are looking for a data-driven Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to activate marketing and campaign creation with executional excellence. This role will focus on building and implementing marketing strategies and GTM motions across owned channels (primarily email and in-product). The specialist will build always-on programs, lead and test new targeting and strategy to produce optimal expansion results and identify opportunities to improve the customer expansion journey across the business.

The ideal candidate is expected to be experienced in email marketing and in-product communications, and to use data-driven insights to continuously improve campaign performance. They must be able to craft clear and effective messaging that resonates with target audiences and inspires action. Ultimately, the success of this role will be measured by their ability to drive user engagement, increase conversion rates, and generate expansion revenue for the business.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to Sr. Lifecycle Marketing Manager.

Responsibility

  • Develop and implement email and in-product messaging campaigns that drive expansion growth through targeted outreach leading to customer conversion
  • Collaborate with the Lifecycle Marketing Leadership team and Product Management to execute the marketing for our owned channels to improve customer experience as well as business outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product, design, and customer success to optimize the user experience and improve campaign performance
  • Experiment with and test continuously new messaging and campaign strategies to identify scalable and repeatable processes for driving expansion revenue
  • Analyze user data and campaign performance to find opportunities for improvement and track progress against engagement and expansion goals
  • Develop targeted messaging and campaigns for different segments of users based on their usage behavior and lifecycle stage
  • Collaborate with the campaign operations team to manage the execution of campaigns and ensure timely delivery and successful launch of email and in-product campaigns
  • Identify, escalate and problem solve operational campaign and data issues with the appropriate key players
  • Understand our martech and marketing data flows in depth

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Experience working in SaaS and/or ecommerce companies
  • General knowledge of Product Lead Growth (PLG)
  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing and in-product communications

Preferred

  • Experience in creating email campaigns, including developing targeted messaging, designing email templates, and optimizing email content for deliverability and engagement
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and familiarity with tools such as Eloqua and Action IQ
  • Understanding of customer segmentation, targeting, and lead nurturing strategies
  • Strong analytical skills to measure campaign performance and make data-driven decisions
  • Experience with Tableau
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to craft clear and effective messaging for in-product communications
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) best practices and ability to create engaging in-product communications and collaborate with product teams
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and engineering to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Dynamic, highly-motivated, organized, self-starter who gets excited about rolling up their sleeves and digging into the work
  • Team player who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $83,500 - $120,900 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus and benefits.
