What you'll do
The Area Vice President (AVP) Enterprise Sales - North Europe role is pivotal to the success of the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for both the day to day leadership of the North EMEA Enterprise function as well as the strategic direction of the segment.
This position is a people manager role, reporting to VP, EMEA Enterprise Sales.
Responsibility
- Win new Enterprise clients and logos with the support of marketing, sales engineering and business development
- Create, direct, and drive new business campaigns across the EMEA North region
- Assist the team in crafting and completing sophisticated deals that create business value and ROI for the customer
- Directly participate in closing deals with target Enterprise accounts and driving Enterprise business initiatives for future regional success
- Attract, hire, and retain the best talent for the Enterprise Sales, EMEA North team
- Build and develop a high-performing team through use of data and operational rigor(close rates, pipeline coverage, time to close, win rates, forecasting, etc)
- Develop and maintain executive and senior-level client relationships
- Represent our customers' product needs through various internal and external forums
- Support DocuSign’s various Resell, Strategic, and Systems Integrator partners
- Working and managing sales opportunities together with Partners, Strategic and Systems Integrator partners, and Resellers in the EMEA North region
- Collaborate with business partners across Solutions Consulting, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, Business Development, and Partners to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategy
- Ensure achievement of the various quarterly pipeline, bookings, and retention goals set for the region
- Plan and handle at both the strategic and operational levels
- Prioritize the successful implementation of DocuSign products and services into our customer base
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
- BA/BS degree in a business or technical-related field
- Fluency in English
- Extensive experience in field sales management at a senior leadership level within a matrixed Saas sales environment in the enterprise software industry
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota and revenue goals
- Successful history of selling to enterprise-level customers with established C-suite relationships Ability to build and execute strategic sales plans and drive their implementation
- Experience crafting and driving strategic and ground-breaking country and regional initiatives
- Clear understanding of software and/or cloud solutions
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and hyper-growth organization
- Shown background in driving and accelerating team performance through metric management and dashboards
- Strong forecasting and reporting capabilities
- Expertise in leading, attracting, retaining, and developing high-performing talent through assessment, selection, onboarding, coaching, and development
- Experience leading multi-tiered customer relationships and a demonstrated ability to coach and mentor
- Experience with Salesforce and/or other contact center management systems
