The Pre-Sales Applied AI Expert - UAE plays a critical role in the sales process across all customer segments in the Middle East – from high-velocity commercial opportunities to complex strategic accounts. The Pre-Sales AAIE partners with both Account Executives and Strategic Account Directors to deliver impactful demos and articulate the technical value proposition of DataRobot solutions. Pre-Sales supports both new logo pursuits and expansion within existing accounts, guiding prospects and customers through solution design and proofs of value. Pre-Sales also ensures a smooth handoff to post-sales and brings valuable market insights back into the product and go-to-market teams.
You must be located in Dubai or Abu Dhabi to be eligible for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Business-to-Technical Translation: Partner with sellers to understand business objectives and connect them to relevant DataRobot GenAI applications or platform capabilities; tailor technical messaging for different buyer personas by industry.
Demo Execution & Use Case Framing: Deliver engaging, outcome-oriented demos for both new prospects and existing customers; help shape and refine use cases based on maturity, need, and strategic alignment.
Solution Design & Deployment Readiness: Define key technical requirements, recommend deployment models, and advise on data readiness to ensure quick time-to-value for new and expansion opportunities.
Cross-Functional Feedback Loop: Surface patterns in customer objections, market trends, and technical blockers to Product, Marketing, and Enablement teams to strengthen positioning and readiness.
Sales Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor across the sales team by supporting Account Executives, Strategic Account Directors, and Business Development Reps with the technical knowledge and assets needed to drive GenAI opportunities forward.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong ability to translate agentic AI, GenAI and ML platform capabilities into business outcomes across multiple industries or functions
Demonstrated success supporting both new business and expansion opportunities across enterprise and commercial accounts
Excellent communication and demo skills, able to tailor value stories to both technical stakeholders and non-technical buyers
Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative environment with evolving product offerings and use cases
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a data science, pre-sale solutions, or technical consulting role within a software or SaaS company; familiarity with GenAI-related sales a plus
Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical, or business-related field (or equivalent experience); advanced degree in a technical or analytical-related field a plus
Willingness to travel onsite with customers up to 50% of the time
Fluency in English and Arabic
