What You'll Do:

The Solutions Engineering team works with Criteo’s customer teams and clients across EMEA, supporting design, implementations, launches, optimization, and technical problem-solving across our solutions as part of the Operations Specialists organization.

Solutions Engineers know the inner workings of Criteo’s technology and partner closely with Sales, Account Strategy, Operations, Product, and other Global teams to deliver strong client outcomes.

As Solutions Engineering Manager EMEA, you will lead the team, set priorities, drive execution, and develop the people and operating model needed to support the region at scale.

This role requires strong people leadership, operational discipline, and sound technical judgment. You will work closely with regional and global stakeholders to improve service quality, shorten delivery times, and help the team adapt as business needs evolve.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead and develop the Solutions Engineering team across EMEA. Set clear priorities, support day-to-day execution, and maintain a high bar for quality and delivery.

  • Own the team strategy and OKRs, translating business priorities into a clear operating approach, defining focus areas, and adjusting scope as products, service levels, and account complexity evolve across the region.

  • Own hiring, onboarding, capability development, and performance management for the team. Run regular 1:1s, team meetings, QBRs, give clear feedback, and support career growth.

  • Organize team assignments based on business priorities, team capacity, skills, tenure, and scope. Make sure the team has the tools and training needed to deliver well.

  • Oversee technical support for new and existing clients across EMEA, including integrations, custom solutions, consultancy, troubleshooting, optimization, and product rollouts for the topics of specialization covered by the team.

  • Support the team on complex client situations, escalations, and high-impact launches. Help set direction when trade-offs are needed and keep execution moving.

  • Ensure the team provides strong technical recommendations that help clients adopt solutions effectively and improve business results.

  • Help the team identify, structure, and solve complex technical issues. Encourage the team to connect with Product, Technical Support, and Engineering teams to drive resolution.

  • Support market-specific needs, pilots, and new product adoption across EMEA, while keeping an eye on scale and operational discipline.

  • Partner closely with Sales, Account Strategy, Operations, Product, Technical Support, and peer leaders to align on priorities and unblock execution.

  • Report team activity, risks, performance, and business impact regularly to your manager.

Continuous Improvement Through Tools and Processes:

  • Improve the way the team works by refining processes, clarifying ownership, and removing friction in day-to-day operations.

  • Sponsor the development of tools, automation, and practical solutions that improve efficiency, quality, scalability, and revenue growth.

  • Turn recurring issues and observations from the field into lasting improvements in methods, documentation, and operating standards.

  • Encourage thoughtful use of AI tools to improve preparation, troubleshooting, documentation, and solution design across the team.

The KPIs:

  • Service quality and consistency.

  • Resolution time and speed of execution on launches, rollouts, and client support for the solutions covered by the team.

  • Delivery against regional business priorities and customer expectations.

  • Team engagement, retention, and development.

  • Strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Continuous improvement in tools, processes, and scalability of the service model.

Who You Are:

  • 8+ years of experience in technical solutions, technical support, solutions engineering, or a related client-facing technical role.

  • Previous experience leading or managing a team, with clear examples of coaching, hiring, onboarding, and performance management.

  • Strong technical foundation in web technologies, including JavaScript and HTML, plus working knowledge of APIs, SQL, and at least one programming language such as Python or NodeJS.

  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills. You can prioritize across multiple demands, make sound decisions under pressure, and keep teams aligned.

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences and senior stakeholders.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with commercial, product, engineering, and operations teams. You build relationships easily and influence without formal authority.

  • Good understanding of digital advertising technology, e-commerce, and client implementation workflows.

  • Comfortable leading through change, improving processes, and raising the bar on execution.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Experience managing distributed teams or working across countries and time zones is a plus.

  • Familiarity with AI tools and a practical view on how they can improve team efficiency and technical work is a plus.

We acknowledge that many candidates may not meet every single role requirement listed above. If your experience looks a little different from our requirements but you believe that you can still bring value to the role, we’d love to see your application!
