What You'll Do:

As Payroll Manager you will be responsible for overseeing posting of monthly entries, and reconciling payroll journals, payroll accruals, ensuring a full reconciliation between all information provided by the Human Resources team and the accounting system (SAP). You will be responsible for the accounting for all payroll related subjects.

Your role will require you to work closely with the People departments in the different countries, in order to optimize and standardize the integration of all payrolls into our financial accounts. This will also require a reasonable understanding of the specifics by country in which we operate.

As team lead, you will have to organize the tasks for the team dedicated to the payroll process, ensuring that they are fully mobilized and creating a positive working atmosphere. To do this, you will have to organize regular 1:1s, and ensure that the tasks covered by the team are properly processed and in a timely manner. You will report team activity to the VP Finance and Control and ensure anticipation of topics to be covered, plus proposing actions to improve processes which will need to be prioritized.

Your position covers companies on defined perimeters.

Perimeters included country centralized in the America, Emea, Apac.

You will work closely with the Field Finance, FP&A and Fin Corporate teams, with whom you will ensure a good working relationship. You will make sure that requests, pre-qualified by the front desk are delivered in a pre-defined deadline in conjunction with the front desk. You will also make sure that your monthly analysis respects the need for presenting data to our stakeholders.

The job evolves in a SOX compliant environment. You will ensure the delivery of your SOX controls in a timely manner and with the expected level of quality.

Your tasks will include:

· Management of the team:

· Ensure a common set of documentation for the whole team and communicate it to all team members

· Ensure that each member of the team has a complete understanding of their role

· Proposal of an appropriate level of individual weekly or bi-monthly meetings with clear allocation of tasks to the team

· Weekly review of tasks to be performed and definition of priorities for the team

· Preparation of regular updates to the Management

· Preparation and analysis of KPI’s, define new action steps

· Daily :

· Control of payroll proposals addressed by People department

· Preparation of HR accruals including bonus, and holiday pay

· Follow up and accounting for all impacts related to the exercise of stock options and RSU by our employees

· Sanity check on payroll and associated items

· Prepare cash landing and cash forecast processes

· Month end closing :

· Review of all payroll journals

· Recording of all accounting entries relating to bonus and vacation pay accruals

· Full reconciliation and documentation of both Balance Sheet and P&L positions related to payroll

· Analysis of movements in all payroll related balance sheet accounts

· Preparation of SOX controls

· Analysis and understanding of all major variances in social charge ratios

· Follow up on prior month points raised to People Department

· Scalability :

· Harmonize & standardize the payroll accounting for all Criteo entities

· Work closely with IIPAY Project team on the implementation of a global payroll provider

· Integrate new countries or acquisitions into standard Criteo processes.

· Relationship with audit :

· Preparation of all PBC payroll related requests and their appropriate analysis on a quarterly and yearly basis.

· Other ad-hoc projects / tasks

· As appropriate

Who You Are:

· Minimum Five Years practical accounting experience including specialization in payroll accounting for both French and foreign entities

· Accounting Qualification (Business School / DSCG)

· Experience of working in a SOX Environment

· Good working knowledge of SAP

· Experience of working in a fast moving, complex international environment

· Fluent English – any other languages a plus

· Results driven
