What You'll Do:
What's the Platform Core group?
The Platform Core group, composed of six agile and human-sized teams, provides the core platform and systems to run Criteo products.
How You'll Make An Impact
As an SRE within the Core RDS team, you will play a pivotal role in owning and evolving our relational database systems. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of 5 engineers to enhance and optimize our database infrastructure, utilizing technologies such as MSSQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.
Additionally, you will spearhead initiatives to explore and implement next-generation database solutions like CockroachDB and Yugabyte, as well as facilitate the seamless transition of our on-premise instances to our private cloud managed by Kubernetes.
What You’ll Do
Lead the development and evolution of our relational database systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our database infrastructure.
Explore and implement innovative database solutions to meet evolving business needs.
Oversee the migration of on-premise instances to our private cloud infrastructure.
Drive automation and documentation efforts to streamline database management processes.
Who You Are:
You hold a master's or PhD degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years' experience in relational database systems, including design, optimization, and administration.
Proficiency in MSSQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with emerging database technologies such as CockroachDB and Yugabyte.
Strong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly Kubernetes.
Ability to innovate, problem-solve, and communicate effectively in a collaborative environment.
