What You'll Do:

Own how raw usage data is collected, validated and transformed into billable events within SAP BRIM.

You are accountable for the integrity, completeness and reliability of the Convergent Mediation (CM) layer — where external data becomes structured, trusted input for rating and billing.

You ensure usage flows are accurate, traceable and scalable before entering the charging engine, directly supporting Finance closing accuracy and revenue confidence.

Main missions:

  • Act as the CM functional authority within the BRIM landscape.

  • Lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable and high-performance solutions using SAP CM and integration with Criteo R&D Platforms for Finance-relevant use cases.

  • Own the end-to-end design and configuration of SAP Convergent Mediation, using SAP standard capabilities and minimizing custom development.

  • Ensure external usage and delivery data (publishers, platforms, internal systems) is correctly validated, enriched and transformed into chargeable items.

  • Secure data integrity and traceability across the mediation lifecycle.

  • Ensure stable and scalable integration between upstream source systems and downstream CC / CI processes, supporting accurate financial reporting and reconciliation.

  • Participate in technical design reviews, feasibility assessments, and provide expert input into roadmap planning and strategic initiatives.

Tasks

Design and configure mediation processes in SAP CM

  • Design and configure mediation flows and pipelines.

  • Define transformation, validation and enrichment rules for high-volume financial events (millions of line items).

  • Build SAP CM Workflows and configurations to Collect OTC-specific data from upstream systems using Parquet File/FTP, REST API, Streaming API, OData API...

  • Drive architectural improvements and optimization efforts across SAP CM workflows and integration layers.

  • Configure aggregation, filtering and routing logic aligned with monetization models.

  • Manage error handling, reprocessing and control mechanisms.

  • Use various Usage Events formats to process and decode data to create relevant CITs for SAP CI Module

  • Build Unit, Integration, and Automation tests for the various workflows in CM and integrate them with relevant upstream and downstream systems.

  • Debug and correct CM Workflow issues including issues from upstream and downstream interfaces.

Ensure cross-module consistency and financial data integrity

  • Ensure mediated usage data is correctly structured for Convergent Charging.

  • Validate data mappings and field-level transformations impacting revenue and Traffic Acquisition Cost calculations.

  • Ensure key identifiers and references remain consistent across CM, CC and CI.

  • Prevent data loss, duplication or corruption that could impact invoicing or financial closing.

Secure performance and operational stability

  • Design mediation processes capable of handling high-volume data ingestion.

  • Monitor and optimize throughput and processing latency.

  • Build scalable solutions in SAP CM and supporting Logging, Tracing, Observability and Alerting with various tools like Grafana

  • Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies or processing failures.

  • Ensure mediation logic remains configuration-driven and scalable, aligned with SAP standards.

Support delivery and operational governance

  • Participate in integration design workshops with upstream system owners and Finance stakeholders.

  • Provide impact analysis for new usage models or data sources.

  • Support testing, data migration validation, cutover and hypercare phases.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data quality and processing governance.

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP BRIM, with strong expertise in Convergent Mediation (CM).

  • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of SAP/Digital Route Convergent Mediation (CM) with proven abilities to design and build complex, scalable workflows.

  • Strong understanding of usage-based monetization and event-driven architectures.

  • Solid knowledge of cross-module impacts between CM, CC and CI.

  • Hands-on experience in SAP HANA (mandatory) and SAP BRIM (good to have).

  • Experience managing high-volume data ingestion and transformation environments.

  • Strong analytical skills in diagnosing data discrepancies and processing failures.

  • Detail-oriented and data-driven — usage accuracy is non-negotiable.

  • Standard-first mindset, minimizing unnecessary custom logic.

  • Comfortable working in Agile delivery environments.

  • Experience working in international and distributed teams (offshore collaboration is a plus).
