People Relations Specialist

What You'll Do:
We seek for a People Relations Specialist/partner (level D) permanent role to join the Compliance & ER team in Spain starting during Q1 2026.
1- Employee Relations
Advise Functional People Business Partners (PBP) based outside of Spain and
lead end-to-end employee relations on a dedicated scope such as performance management, investigations, prepare and apply disciplinary/dismissal procedures, support with litigation and Workers Council/Union matters, etc.
As subject matter expert for Spain, you work with our Functional PBPs based abroad and in Spain, to understand their business needs, provide advice and support them on Employee Relations specific to Spain.
You are assisting and coaching Managers with employee relations processes. You upskill managers through your conversations, to enable them to deliver outcomes in a way that is in line with our culture and labor law.
You support the Spain People Relations Partner on collective labor relations: preparation of the Work Councils meetings and any related documentation.
You have a creative, sustainable and solutions-based and proactive approach to People Relations topics – whilst aligning to the Criteo Culture and with a thriving organization mindset.
2- Compliance & Policies
Participate to the elaboration, follow-up and coordination with PBPs, Centers of Expertise (Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, People Ops etc…) to adapt our global People processes for Spain: provide inputs and roll-out.
You participate in designing our local policies, necessary processes that are required as part of the
implementation of any given local policies or local legislative requirements.
In collaboration with the local Compliance & ER team, you are the go-to-person for our People Operations team when they need support in answering questions that connect to regulations and policies in the locations.
You are an active collaborator with the team and work together to successfully deliver value.
You are a key enabler of Compliance projects implementation & execution in line with local employment law (e.g.: Gender Equality Plan, LGTBIQA+ Plan, Disability Quota, Health & Safety, etc).
Who You Are:
Previous experience in Human Resources handling autonomously people relations topics.
Knowledge of Spanish Labor law frameworks with a pragmatic approach.
Analytical, decision making & problem-solving skills to tackle new people-related topics.
Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Good listener and capacity to influence/persuade others based on logic and law, understanding that there’s a flexible/adaptable zone in the work that we do.
Collaboration with internal stakeholders is key to succeed in that role (Benefits, C&B, People Ops…).
In-office presence to attend sensitive cases and meetings as needed is highly valued.
