What You'll Do:

Criteo is looking for a commercially sharp, detail-oriented, and versatile Account Strategist to join our ANZ Retail Media Monetisation team in Melbourne. Working alongside two senior Client Leads, you'll own the product adoption, inventory expansion, and campaign execution layer across our active retailer portfolio operating as a peer with real commercial accountability, not a support function.

  • Drive product adoption and inventory expansion identify untapped Criteo product and format opportunities, build business cases for new activations, negotiate expanded inventory placements, and track post-launch performance to maximise retailer monetisation.
  • Own managed service campaign execution — direct Campaign Operations and Data Analytics teams to optimise performance and deliver measurable results for brand advertisers within the retailer environment.
  • Build and deliver QBR data packs and commercial insights translate platform data into clear narratives that drive retailer investment decisions and support product expansion conversations.
  • Co-own revenue targets alongside Client Leads — contribute to quarterly reforecasting, track actuals against plan, and surface risk early with a clear recovery view.
  • Lead retailer enablement platform training sessions, quarterly webinars, and go-to-market collateral that build self-service capability and grow adoption of Criteo's product suite.
  • Lead onboarding of new retailers from platform setup to first live campaign, in partnership with the Project Manager and Solutions Architect.
  • Maintain platform health across all retailers resolve issues within agreed SLAs and proactively ag risks before they reach the client.
  • Identify and convert new managed service brand activation opportunities within existing retailer ecosystems, in support of ANZ ActMS targets.
  • Embed AI and automation into workows — driving efficiency across reporting, insights, and content production.

Who You Are:

  • 5 to 7 years in account management or a client-facing role in retail media, digital advertising, or adtech.

  • A generalist equally at home leading an investment conversation, resolving a campaign issue, delivering a training session, or troubleshooting a platform problem. You don't stay in one lane.

  • Commercially sharp you understand what drives a retailer's media investment, spot risk and opportunity early, and frame conversations in language that lands with a commercial audience.

  • Exceptional attention to detail — across data, client communications, campaign delivery, and forecasting. You notice the things others miss.

  • Well-versed in the retail media landscape on-site, off-site, managed service, and programmatic.

  • Analytically capable you build performance narratives and present insights clearly. Analysis is a tool in your kit, not your whole identity.

  • Clear, condent communicator from campaign manager level to GM.

  • A strong collaborator — able to operate as a genuine peer to senior Client Leads, independently and without day-to-day oversight.

  • Self-directed comfortable managing multiple retailer workstreams simultaneously, with strong prioritisation.

  • Experience coordinating offshore campaign and analytics teams is a strong advantage.

  • Familiarity with Criteo, CitrusAd, or equivalent retail media platforms preferred.

  • AI-curious actively embedding tools into your workow to drive efficiency and quality.
