People Operations Coordinator Americas

What You'll Do:
You will work with the Local People Operations Team based in New York. Your mission will be to support the team in different HR areas, with a focus on the US and Canada (some support to Brazil may be required) regions and supporting a population of around 700+ employees:
This role will be based in Gurgaon and will be on a time shift of 6:30PM to 3:30AM IST covering our Americas business needs.
HR Operations, Employee Lifecycle & Compliance
Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing employment documentation and ensuring compliance and smooth transitions.
Partner cross functionally with relevant stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class employee experience.
Act as the first point of contact from the People Operations team for new hires.
Maintain and update employee records in the cHRIS (Workday), including job changes, promotions, transfers, and other employee lifecycle updates.
Support employee benefits programs by responding to benefits related queries.
Manage and maintain employee files, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Manage welcome communications and welcome packs.
Maintain a strong understanding of company policies and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
Manage employee requests with responsiveness, ensuring proper follow-up and escalation, when necessary, while meeting defined SLAs.
Collaborate closely with People Business Partners, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, TA, and other HR stakeholders.
Contribute to additional HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Who You Are:
2–3 years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on HR operations
Good understanding of US HR Operations, as well as Benefits rules and policies
Strong administrative and organizational skills with high attention to detail
Experience with HR systems such as Workday and/or ServiceNow
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity
Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Passionate about People and a strong team player
