What You'll Do:

We are looking for an engaged and proactive People Operations Intern to join Criteo and support our Local People Operations team in Spain.
Based in Barcelona, you will work closely with the Spanish People Operations team, providing first-line HR support to employees and managers across Spain. This role offers hands-on exposure to core HR operations and is an excellent opportunity to develop practical experience in a fast-paced, international environment.

What you will do:

  • Support the onboarding process for new hires across Criteo offices in Spain, including:
    • Preparation of employment contracts and employee documentation
    • Creation and maintenance of employee files
    • Updating and maintaining HR data in our HR systems
  • Assist with day-to-day People Operations activities, such as:
    • Managing different types of leaves (annual leave, sick leave, etc.)
    • Preparing employment letters and certificates
    • Supporting employees with benefits enrollment and related questions
  • Manage employee requests through our ticketing tool by:
    • Ensuring timely responses and proper follow-up
    • Escalating cases when needed
  • Collaborate closely with People Operations colleagues, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and IT/Workplace teams.
  • Support consistency and efficiency in core People Operations processes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal knowledge base articles.

Who You Are:

You are curious, reliable, and eager to learn how People Operations works in practice - beyond theory. You enjoy working in a structured environment, are comfortable following processes, and understand the importance of accuracy and confidentiality when dealing with employee data and documentation.

You are someone who:

  • Feels comfortable supporting others and acting as a first point of contact for employee questions.
  • Is detail-oriented and organized.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, both in writing and in day-to-day interactions.
  • Is not afraid to ask questions and seeks to understand the “why” behind HR processes.
  • Can manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and follow through on commitments.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and collaborating with different stakeholders.
  • Adapts well to change and can operate in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Languages & education:

  • Fluent in Spanish and advanced in English (Spanish is required for local employee documentation).
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law, or a related field.
