What You'll Do:
The Global Automation team develops and runs a wide range of first-class solutions that empower Criteo’s commercial and operations teams to maximize their business impact. We build scalable, reliable, and interoperable systems, that constantly need to adapt to business priorities and evolutions. And we build the applications, APIs and UIs to supply first-class service to our users.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor in crafting high-impact solutions, working within a cross-functional team of skilled engineers. Your work will involve designing and developing APIs, ETL pipelines, and frameworks that give commercial stakeholders secure, reliable, and performant access to data and insights.
You will work with multi-cultural R&D teams to leverage and integrate existing products and stay up to date with industry trends, applying insights to enhance frameworks, libraries, and CI/CD strategies. Promote a strong engineering culture focused on quality, maintainability, and best practices. You will own the development of both frontend features and backend functionality based on the need. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and fellow engineers to build end-to-end solutions with a clear focus on usability, performance, and maintainability.
Key responsibilities:
Own frontend development tasks from concept through delivery, using modern frameworks(Angular preferred).
Contribute to backend development by building or integrating APIs, data flows, and server-side logic.
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the technical roadmap.
Ensure code quality and reliability through comprehensive testing, code reviews, and best practices.
Mentor junior developers and share knowledge to uplift team capabilities.

Location - Gurugram, IN (hybrid)
Who You Are:
Bachelor's or Master’s in software engineering or related field, with 8+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong proficiency in object-oriented programming.
Have expertise in modern frontend frameworks - Angular, including HTML, CSS and TypeScript.
Deep understanding of databases (SQL preferred) - Schema design and evolution, relational concepts and query optimization.
Have a solid grasp of backend concepts and are comfortable working with REST API design, asynchronous framework, python web frameworks - Flask, FastAPI, and server-side development in Python.
Have a strong grasp of software engineering principles, system design, and algorithms, and you write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Bring a collaborative mindset, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Thrive in a collaborative team environment, and actively mentor and support your peers, sharing knowledge and helping others overcome technical challenges.
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Kubernetes
Experience implementing AI/ML features in previous projects
