ERP / EPM Controlling & Forecast Business Analyst

What You'll Do:
As an ERP/EPM Controlling & Forecast Business Analyst, you will serve as the key interface between Criteo’s Finance teams (FP&A, Controlling) and the IT organization, across Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM platforms. Your mission is to capture, structure, and translate business needs into actionable system evolutions, ensuring alignment with the Oracle Fusion Core Model, internal IT standards, and the ERP/EPM roadmap. You will work closely with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Tech Leads, and System Integrators to ensure that proposed changes are properly understood, qualified, and implemented in line with design and governance principles.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Requirements
Position as primary IT counterpart for FP&A and Controlling process owners.
Lead workshops to capture needs and pain points; challenge demands to align with Core Model and Oracle best practices.
Translate needs into clear, testable requirements and drive prioritization with business & IIT.
Functional Design & Validation
Convert requirements into functional specifications aligned with Oracle EPM Planning capabilities.
Design and optimize controlling and forecasting models, leveraging:
Essbase (BSO/ASO) for calculation and reporting.
Calculation Manager and Groovy for advanced rules and allocations.
Smart View for Excel-based input and analysis.
Align impacts with Tech Lead & Solution Architects (data, integrations, security, reporting).
Review design/configuration and validate via test cases and sign-offs.
Delivery, UAT & Release Readiness
Manage change delivery: impact assessment, test planning, UAT support, and defect triage.
Ensure requirements-to-tests-to-production traceability.
Participate in release reviews and confirm readiness before deployment.
Transition Management between Legacy and New ERPM Models
Ensure continuity of operations during the transition phase.
Define and coordinate the articulation between legacy and target ERPM models.
Oversee historical data migration and validation activities.
Support interim governance rules to secure data integrity and compliance.
Forecasting & Controlling Excellence
Ensure EPM models for planning and controlling are aligned with the Core Model and Oracle best practices.
Oversee data integrity and reconciliation between ERP actuals and EPM models during planning cycles.
Support model performance optimization (Essbase structures, calculation rules) to meet forecast timelines.
Standardize input templates and reporting structures in Smart View for consistent user experience.
Contribute to governance of dimensions and hierarchies (EDMCS) and enforce change control processes.
CrossStream Collaboration & Knowledge
Work closely with the IT Product Owner, Tech Lead, and Solution Architect to ensure end-to-end design coherence across ERP and EPM flows.
Coordinate with adjacent IIT streams (ERP Finance, Procurement, HR) and assess cross-functional impacts on integrations, security, and reporting.
Share knowledge and maintain transparent documentation to support governance, onboarding, and future scalability.
Who You Are:
5+ years’ experience in EPM functional analysis or business process consulting.
Strong knowledge of controlling, FP&A, and forecasting processes.
Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Planning (forecasting/budgeting).
Practical expertise with:
Essbase (BSO/ASO)
Calculation Manager & Groovy
EDMCS for dimension governance
Smart View for analysis and reporting
Proven ability to translate business needs into system evolutions and challenge requests.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Fluent in English (written & spoken).
Nice to Have
Experience with PCMCS (Profitability and Cost Management) for cost allocation and profitability analysis.
Exposure to advanced driver-based planning and scenario modeling.
Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (Oracle Analytics, Power BI).
Experience with Oracle Fusion tools: OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View.
Familiarity with Oracle Redwood UX and quarterly release cycles.
Prior exposure to integration topics (OIC, API, middleware) or data migration.
Knowledge of Agile/hybrid delivery practices (JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, etc.).
Experience with Anaplan for planning and modeling in multi-solution environments.
Exposure to Databricks or similar data platforms for advanced analytics and data integration.
