About the Role
As a Lead Measurement Data Science Partner, you will drive Criteo’s analytical excellence across APAC by combining competitive intelligence, measurement innovation and cross-market enablement to raise the bar on how Criteo measures and demonstrates value in a fast-evolving and competitive landscape.
The APAC ecosystem presents unique challenges: significant market fragmentation with high diversity in clients’ maturity, rapid market evolution, intensifying competition, and emerging client scrutiny of measurement. Operating at the intersection of data science, business strategy and client partnership, this role ensures Criteo remains analytically sharp, competitively informed, and commercially trusted.
This lead individual contributor role (Level F) allows a senior data science practitioner to shape strategy, influence decision-making and elevate analytical excellence across Criteo’s APAC markets. You will be the regional focal point for analytical excellence, partnering closely with commercial and local analytics teams to ensure Criteo’s data science practices clearly influence client decisions.
What You’ll Do
Competition Analytics & Market Intelligence
Define and lead the competition analytics strategy for APAC, building a unified framework to quantify Criteo’s performance versus competitors and identify client or market win-back opportunities.
Develop scalable benchmarking tools and dashboards to monitor share-of-wallet, performance deltas, and client churn risks.
Coordinate cross-country collaboration to align competition practices, tools and methodologies across APAC.
Measurement & Experimentation Excellence
Design, validate and lead measurement frameworks that quantify incremental value through causal inference, incrementality testing, A/B experiments, H2H analysis and attribution deep dives across key accounts.
Partner with local analytics teams to design, run and interpret experiments for top clients that demonstrate Criteo’s impact and translate findings into actionable business insights.
Establish clear testing best practices for campaign setup, KPIs and validation logic to guarantee consistency, robustness and comparability of results.
Analytical Strategy, Partnership & Enablement
Serve as the regional go-to expert for competition and measurement topics.
Represent measurement and competition science with clients and internal teams (when the language is not a barrier), adapting communication to technical and business audiences.
Stay current on emerging competition and measurement trends (such as MTA or MMMs) and translate them into consultative support and upskilling initiatives for APAC teams.
Capture and scale learnings from competition and measurement through actionable sales narratives and reusable enablement materials (strategic playbooks, case studies…) that embed best practices across APAC.
Partner with commercial, product and global teams to prioritize initiatives that strengthen Criteo’s market position and embed advanced measurement into products, workflows and client strategies.
Who You Are:
Analytics or data science professional with 5+ years of experience in roles focused on measurement, competition, or quantitative strategy.
Exceptional communicator, capable of distilling complex analysis into impactful, client-relevant insights.
Proven experience applying causal inference, incrementality, or A/B testing in commercial or advertising contexts.
Comfortable in Python, SQL and data visualisation tools, and working with large-scale data environments.
Experienced operating as an individual contributor who drives regional cross-functional influence and regional coordination.
Deep understanding of competitive dynamics in the AdTech or digital commerce ecosystem.
Strategic thinker with intense curiosity, analytical rigour, and a results-oriented mindset.
