What You'll Do:

Reporting to the Senior GPO Collection Manager, this position will oversee and manage the daily operations of the Collections team EMEA – Retail media. This role will work closely with all departments within CRITEO to provide quality service to internal and external customers and will properly manage all functions in accordance with Corporate Accounting and Order to Cash processes practices, generally accepted accounting principles. Leads and directs a team Collections members : responsible for performance management of directs reports and the coordination and review the work of the team.

In this role, you will have the responsibility to:

1. Collection
Reviews and Proposes collection management strategy
Revises and update Collection Policies ensuring compliance with other business rules and Procedures,
Participates or supports the sales processes to ensure compliance with defined standards,
Holds collection reviews between Finance & Sales Departments and enforces process collection escalation (collection action or request the support of other actors: Sales Rep, Credit risk team)
Validates portfolio segmentation, collection rules and methods per customer segment in coherence with CRITEO policy
Monitors performance of collectors, provides guidance and defines priorities
Prepares and leads internal Collection meetings
Takes part in the process of collection escalation (customer dunning and emails, meeting calls with customers, top management...)
Coordinates with the OTC departments for the cash application and billing issues
Set up customer payment schedule
2. Bad Debt process
Selects customer account for whom the process of bad debt management is enforced
Evaluates and follows up bad debt reserve and write-off
3. Optimizes processes, change management
Continuously evaluates and improves effectiveness of processes for Collection management,
Enhances collection culture of sales department
Ensures accuracy of customer information with customer accounts administration department
Proposes changes and implements them after evaluation with other departments involved
Manages internal and external relationships. Deliver continuous improvement in service levels
Communicates changes to the regional and central teams
4. Manages and develops Collection team
Motivates collection team, sets objectives, and evaluates their performance
Evaluates training requirements, Plans the training. Set up and follows global and individual objectives.
Proceeds to individual appraisal.
Organizes and develops experience sharing between collection and Credit risk management
5. Dashboard and reporting
Full fills the monthly Collection report and transfer to reporting team and Credit Risk Manager
Handle and Participate to the pausing meeting held by the GPO Manager with sales organization
Provide other relevant information to Sales or OTC Organization
Defines targets and priorities and follows up performances
Detects exception (credit limit, payment terms...) and alerts both Regional Finance & Sales Director on deviation (overdue amount, claims number).

Who You Are:

Education: Finance, accounting, business administration
Work experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Audit, Account receivables and collection
Experience in team management is required: Minimum 3 years
Technical Knowledge: SAP / Excel Macro included / CRM
Rigorous and recognized analytical qualities
Autonomy, adaptability, proactivity and open-mindedness
Team spirit
Managerial skills
Speak French/ English and other language a plus
