What if, in your next adventure, you were surrounded by people who, like you, look for an unlimited playground to explore, share, and test, would you care to hear more? You've opened the right door! As an R&D team, making sure your ideas are heard and encouraged is what we strive to do!

What You'll Do:

As an SRE engineer in the u-Verse team, you will build a multi-tenant Kubernetes-based platform to power high-performance Ad Server projects. These projects handle real-time bidding (RTB) traffic and are a crucial part of the Custom Solutions business unit at Criteo.

Our team is on a mission to modernize our infrastructure, transitioning from a legacy cloud VM-based environment managed with Puppet to a scalable Kubernetes ecosystem. If you thrive on solving complex infrastructure challenges, love automation, and want to be at the heart of a large-scale platform migration, this role is for you.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Lead the migration of live traffic processing and related services to the new platform, ensuring minimal disruption.

  • Design and implement new features based on migration needs and external team requests.

  • Improve observability and optimize resource monitoring to enhance reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.

  • Own incident response by investigating issues, leading blameless postmortems, and driving improvements to prevent future incidents.

  • Facilitate technical discussions, enhance documentation, and participate in code reviews to foster innovation and best practices.

Our Tech Stack

  • GCP & AWS infrastructure managed with Terraform

  • Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD

  • Golang

Who You Are:

  • Cloud – Strong understanding of cloud services and architecture, including compute, storage, networking, IAM, and cost management. Hands-on experience in GCP or AWS.

  • Kubernetes – Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes fundamentals with practical experience in managing and troubleshooting workloads in production environments.

  • Infrastructure – Understanding of underlying components, including operating systems and networking, with knowledge of basic security principles. Prior experience managing large-scale, complex infrastructures. Familiarity with GNU/Linux systems is essential.

  • Observability & Monitoring – Solid understanding of monitoring best practices, service instrumentation, and designing systems with comprehensive observability coverage.

  • Automation & CI/CD – good programming skills with a focus on automation in at least one modern language (Python, Go, Java, etc.). Familiarity with CI/CD and version control tools is essential.

  • Collaboration & Communication – Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and external project teams hosting services on our platform, fostering clear communication and seamless knowledge sharing.

We acknowledge that many candidates may not meet every single role requirement listed above. If your experience looks a little different from our requirements but you believe that you can still bring value to the role, we’d love to see your application!
