What You'll Do:

We seek a Middle Data Engineer to join our team and help design, implement, and optimize data transfer processes across various systems and platforms. In this role, you will ensure secure, efficient, and reliable data movement between internal and external sources while maintaining high performance and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data transfer pipelines for structured and unstructured data.

• Ensure secure and reliable data transmission across multiple platforms, including cloud and on-premise environments.

• Work with data tools for extract, transform, and load data efficiently.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to data synchronization, latency, and transfer failures.

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless data integration.

• Implement data security and compliance best practices to protect sensitive information during transfers.

• Optimize network and storage performance for large-scale data movement.

• Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in data transfer, networking, and cloud computing

Who You Are:

• 3-5 years of experience in data transfer, data engineering, or related fields.

• Strong knowledge of file transfer protocols and data streaming technologies.

• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Java (Scala) for automating data transfer processes.

• Hands-on experience with cloud storage solutions (AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob).

• Familiarity with message queues and streaming platforms.

• Experience with network troubleshooting, performance tuning, and data compression techniques.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data lake architectures and distributed storage solutions.

• Knowledge of data encryption, masking, and anonymization techniques.

• Understanding of infrastructure as code for automated deployments.
