Description

aPriori looking for a Manager of Sales Development to take our SDR team to the next level. In this role, you’ll be both a coach and a builder- developing talent, shaping sales development strategies, and ensuring that our top-of-funnel pipeline is a consistent growth engine for the business.

This is a role for someone who thrives on developing people, scaling processes, and collaborating cross-functionally. You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to align goals, optimize workflows, and drive measurable results.

Location: Concord, Massachusetts (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

  • Lead, hire, and mentor a team of SDRs responsible for inbound and outbound pipeline generation
  • Create and deliver structured onboarding and continuous training programs to help reps ramp quickly and succeed
  • Build and refine playbooks, outreach cadences, and messaging frameworks that drive results
  • Partner with Marketing to optimize campaigns, lead scoring, and targeting strategies
  • Work with Sales and RevOps to improve lead routing, qualification criteria, and CRM processes
  • Track and report on key performance metrics like meetings booked, pipeline created, and activity benchmarks
  • Champion adoption of sales tools including Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Salesloft, and Gong
  • Explore new tools and automation to drive efficiency and innovation in prospecting
  • Stay current on aPriori’s solutions, industry trends, and customer pain points to ensure messaging resonates
  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture where team members are motivated, supported, and recognized for success
Requirements
  • Proven experience building and leading SDR/BDR teams that exceed pipeline goals
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing and celebrating early-career sales talent
  • Hands-on experience scaling inbound and outbound sales development programs
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Gong, and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Salesloft)
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze trends and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and RevOps
  • Background in complex B2B sales cycles; experience with working for companies in the industrial or manufacturing software sector is a plus

Education/Experience

  • 4+ years in SaaS sales or business development
  • 1–2+ years of direct leadership experience managing SDRs/BDRs
