Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented product manager to help shape the future of our manufacturing process modeling capabilities. This role is responsible for gathering customer and market insights, defining product requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative SaaS solutions that provide rich Cost, Sustainability, and Design for Manufacturability guidance. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, able to balance customer needs with business objectives to deliver impactful solutions.

Location: Belfast, UK (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze customer feedback, market data, product usage data, and internal research to identify pain points and opportunities for new product capabilities.
  • Define product requirements for new and enhanced manufacturing process models, focusing on Cost, Sustainability, and Design for Manufacturability guidance.
  • Collaborate with the product management team to define SaaS application capabilities and solutions.
  • Plan product roadmaps and detailed release content in partnership with UX, development, cost modeling, documentation, and QA teams.
  • Develop and implement tools and collateral to assist in solution deployment, including model upgrade tools and industry/part type collateral.
  • Support technology and data partnerships, especially related to CAD modeling support, manufacturing, economic, and sustainability data.
  • Partner with product marketing, customer success, and sales on go-to-market strategy and product launches.
  • Provide support t customer success teams, including training on new capabilities and advising on best practices for deployments.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of product development technologies within discrete manufacturing (CAD/CAM, PLM, FEA, and simulation software); familiarity with manufacturing cost models a plus.
  • Ability to investigate customer part types, modeling practices and manufacturing approaches to identify gaps in product support.
  • Strong initiative to start and complete projects independently.
  • Highly organized, persistent, and flexible with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and drive decision-making across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience building and shipping technical products.
  • Experience creating strategic product roadmaps that consider business impact, revenue opportunity, and investment requirements.
  • Experience as a product owner or key stakeholder in an Agile/Scrum development process.
