Intelligent machines powered by Artificial Intelligence computers that can learn, reason and interact with people are no longer science fiction. Today, a self-driving car powered by AI can meander through a country road at night and find its way. An AI-powered robot can learn motor skills through trial and error. The era of AI has begun. NVIDIA's GPUs run Deep Learning algorithms, simulating human intelligence, and act as a brain of computers, robots and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. Just as human imagination and intelligence are linked, computer graphics and AI come together in our architecture. This may explain why NVIDIA GPUs are used broadly for Deep Learning, and NVIDIA is increasingly known as “the AI company”. Make your choice to join us today.

We are seeking an outstanding senior software engineer to join our NV Map team with a goal to enable Autonomous Driving, Simulation and Robotics at global scale. In this role, you will work alongside leaders in the HD map industry on projects that deliver significant impact to the company, leveraging your knowledge while providing you with opportunities to expand your skill-set. The team builds advanced GT map automation algorithms, world-class DL products, advanced auto-labeling platform, and the cutting edge web tooling applications.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead technical areas to solve problems in crowdsourced mapping, keep NV Map up-to-date at HD quality.

  • Design, implement, and scale the architecture of crowdsourcing data alignment, map layer representation, change detection.

  • Experiment with new or early stage algorithms to solidify existing algorithms, train deep learning models with large amounts of data.
