We are looking for an accomplished software QA lead to champion the testing of map editing tools and pipelines for HD map production, a vital component in autonomous driving. An idea candidate should possess a solid understanding of SDLC and agile process, be proficient in both manual and automated testing, and demonstrate extensive prior experience in the mapping field.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the testing of map editing tools and pipelines during weekly release process including creating test plans & test cases, executing tests, and bug triaging

• Develop UI and backend test automation to increase test efficiency

• Work closely with multi-functional teams to propose/review/prioritize product requirements & bug fixes

• Possess a deep understanding of how various map editing tools are used by the Map Operations team & act as the champion for their needs

What we need to see:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 5+ years of solid Software QA experience with 2+ years in the mapping field

• Proven experience as software QA lead for a sizable functional domain

• Extensive experience working with remote team

• Solid understanding of SDLC and agile process

• Proficient in Python, a web UI test automation framework, and CICD

• GIS background a great plus

• A self-starter that requires minimal supervision

• Great team player with excellent communication skills

The base salary range is $118,400 - $224,250.
