Senior Automotive Software Arch Engineer
The automotive industry is at disruption & NVIDIA is at the forefront of the autonomous driving and Centralized Car Computer vehicle revolution, powering many key solutions for major car manufacturers. We are engaged in the key areas of the automotive business where visual computing & AI matters for Centralized Car Computer. Centralized Car Computer Vehicles need a supercomputer on wheels, it's an AI & SW heavy computational challenge. There isn't an off-the-shelf platform that stands up to this challenge, so we are building our own.
What you'll be doing:
We are looking for specialist Automotive Software Arch Engineer based in Shanghai towork closely with NVIDIA global team to promote Centralized Car Computer platform to OEMs, Tier1 and deep dive with these customers about software architecture to influence customer's CCC architecture.
Involve CCC software architecture discussion with customers and collect/summarize their requirements.
Drive these requirements internally to our software release.
Study software architecture and trend from ecosystem and the competitors and summarize it.
Bring extensive development experience and a passion for innovation.
Engage with Autonomous customers to provide customized product features, technical support for scalable autonomous driving computing platform from L2 to L5 as well as Centralized Car Computer platform, analyze complex autonomous driving & Cockpit technical issues as well as independent driving resolution across multiple teams.
You will develop and deliver software for Centralized Car Computer Platform based on NVIDIA Orin/Thor SOC and next-generation SOC.
Communicate readily with your peers across the organization, building relationships and collaborating effectively.
What we need to see:
BS or MS in EE/CS or related fields (or additional equivalent experience) with 8+ years of significant work and product experience.
Deep understanding of Linux/QNX/Android Automotive operating system and programming languages in C++ and C.
Experience working on sophisticated automotive systems on the Linux/QNX/Android.
Virtualization/Hypervisor experience. Audio/display/camera virtualization development experience is a plus.
Familiar with ARM architecture and debugging Linux/QNX/Android system performance and stability issues.
Fluent oral interpersonal skills in English.

Prior experience working in the following areas: Autonomous Driving, Automotive Infotainment, or Cockpit.
