Deep Learning Software Engineer Intern for AV Perception
NVIDIA’s AI-INFRA team is hiring NLP Research Engineer Interns for its Self-Driving Car Deep Learning team. Academic and commercial groups around the world are powering a revolution in artificial intelligence using deep learning techniques running on NVIDIA GPUs, enabling breakthroughs in problems from image classification to speech recognition to natural language processing.
Those AI models running in the cars are literatively improved from user feedback day by day, and finally achieved human driver capabilities. For this position, we want to hire ML/NLP interns to be involved in automating the analysis/triage AV events by LLM!!! This is a new, challenging but exciting direction towards sustainable improvements of AV product.
What you’ll be doing:
Design and train NLP models to analyze/categorize the events/failures reported from in-car tests.
Build automation pipeline to speed up AV events triage efforts.
Co-work with product team and AV perception team to automate the process from AV in-car test events analysis to problem solving.
What we need to see:
Masters or PhD student majored in CS/EE/Maths
Can do internship for at least 6 months and work at least 3 days/week.
Deep expertise and solid knowledge in deep learning algorithms, machine learning and natural language processing.
Hands on model training experience for one or more NLP tasks, such as language translation, text prediction etc.
Experience in data analysis and mining.
Strong programming, software design, and testing skills in Python, C++, or similar languages.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Good paper records in top NLP/ML conference like NIPS/ACL/NAACL/EMNLP/COLING/ICLR/AAAI/.
Participation in NLP related competitions where you finished in the top 5.
Experience with data-parallel and/or accelerated computing (CUDA, OpenCL, NEON).
